Club Anya & Friends Monday Mania & Flutterby Wednesdays

Club Anya & Friends Monday Mania this week was a color and photo inspiration challenge. The colors and photo below were to be used to create your card. I didn't have all the exact colors, but matched what I didn't have as close as I could. This photo looks so yummy. So when I saw this photo I knew exactly what paper I wanted to use. I have used Basic Greys Nook & Pantry collection - Cupcakes. Seeing all these cupcakes makes me want to start baking. If it wasn't so hot here I would jump into the kitchen and whip up a batch of cupcakes! But it is very hot and sticky here and the oven on would just make it even worse. Ah well, will have to wait till it cools down! Anyway here is my card using the colors and cupcake photo for inspiration.

I have heard a few people talking about glimmermist over the last month and I decided to get some myself, little did I know how many different colors there were to choose from. Needless to say I spent a long time trying to decide. I ended up getting the Cherry Blossom one and I sprayed the whole cupcake paper with it. it is a bit hard to see in the top photo so I have added a close up sp you can see the slight pink glimmer across the cupcakes.

Card Details:
Stamps - TGF Miss Anya Dressy and SU Sincere Salutations
Paper - Pink Pirouette cardstock SU, Basic Grey's Cupcake DSP, all other paper from my stash
Ink - Black Momento, Brown Momento and Touch and Copic Markers
Other - Scalloped oval Nesties, Kaisercraft pearls, glimmer mist, butterfly punch and Diamond Dust on butterflys.

I have also entered this card into Flutterby Wednesdays. There challenge this week is an open challenge, you just had to have a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation!

Well tomorrow is back to school day for my older two and I can tell you that both them and myself are looking forward to it. My girls are also starting 3year old Kinder tomorrow, they are very excited. Although I not too sure how they are going to go. I'm pretty sure that Miss Charlotte will be fine, but I think that Miss Lily might get a little worried next week when I have to go. Tomorrows group I stay with them, so I guess we will find out soon enough.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!

Club Anya & Friends Wild Card Wednesday & Sketchy Saturday

I just love this Prince Ian image from TGF, isn't he just so cute! I decided to make this card for my Hubby for Valentines. Now we haven't celebrated Valentines Day since we had kids, which was just over 10 years now, so I thought it was about time we did. So I made this card using Prince Ian and Princess Anya. I even made Ian with blonde hair and Anya with red hair, which matches myself and my wonderful Hubby. Although he has gone a bit darker over the last few years. Isn't age a wonderful thing! Anyway have entered this card into the following challenges:

Club Anya Wild Card Wednesday - To use metal on your card
Club Anya Sketch Saturday - Sketch is below

TGF CHA Relay - Day 3 Cub Toby

Well it is day 3 on the TGF CHA Relay and I think I need some sleep!! I've been sitting up late to make these cards each night. Needless to say there has been lots of coffee over the last couple of days! I am not usually a fast card maker, things tend to sit on my desk for at least a few days, sometimes even a week before they get finished. So I have out done myself these last few days in getting 3 cards done! LOL! I have to say I wasn't too sure about Toby when I first saw him, as I'm not really into animals and stuff, but after coloring him up I have come to love him and actually think he is quite cute now.
Card Details:
Stamps - TGF Cub Toby Digi, Bizzy Becs Digi ticket sentiment
Paper - All cardstock and DSP is SU
Ink - Copic and Touch Markers and Brown momento ink

Well I am off for another coffee before little Oscar wakes up!

Here is my CHA Relay Day 2 card using the gorgeous WS Charlotte. I have to say that as soon as I saw the name of this little cutie I knew I was going to love her, as I have my very own Charlotte. Although I have to admit that my Charlotte is just a little bit cuter. Probably slightly biased towards my own daughter! LOL Anyway here are the card details:

By the way I did do day 1 with Mer Ian, but i am so not happy with it, so plan on doing a new one! Although had to enter it into Relay day 1 in order toget WS Charlotte. So I will post my new version when I get him done!!

You know how I said last time that my Baby boy had his first tooth, well he now has 2 and I have to say that he is not too impressed about the whole situation. We are definitley going to need more panadol!

Club Anya & Friends Monday Mania

This card is my entry into CA&F's Monday Mania. This week there was a recipe which had to include Olive green, Pink, Dark Brown and Sparkle. Now I have to admit that I wasn't too keen on the color scheme, but figured it was a great way to challenge myself and you know what, I am really happy with the way this one turned out. Although the pink is a lot brighter in real life. One can never have enough Pink!!
Card Details:
Stamps - TGF 80's Anya and Bizzy Bec's Digi ticket sentiment
Paper - Brown Cardstock, SU Raspberry Tart DSP, SU Always Artichoke & Pink Passion Cardstock
Ink - Black Momento and Copic and Touch Markers
Tools - Eyelets Borderbilities
Other - Kindy Glitz and Chipboard from my stash

This next card was for a friends sons birthday. I do struggle a little bit with boys cards and as I was making this one I kept looking at it thinking that it needed something, but of course the flowers and bling were out as it was a boys card. In the end I decided that it was fine the way it was and that being that it was a boys card that it could be a little bit more simple than the usually blinged up girls cards.
Card Details:
Stamps - TGF Twinkle Tots Max and Bizzy Becs digi ticket sentiment
Paper - SU Tangerine Tango and SU DSP (sorry can't remember the name of it)
Ink - Black Momento Ink, Brown Momento Ink, Copic and Touch Markers
Other - Green Pearls, SU Spiral Punch and SU Choc Chip Ribbon

The postie left me a little something special in my letterbox yesterday, yes it was my next stash of Greeting Farm stamps. I can't wait to play with my new additions. Although I have since decided on more TGF stamps that I have have to have!! Ah well, will just have to add them to my list for next time!! I have decided that if they just stopped making such gorgeous stamps then I wouldn't have to keep buying them! LOL  Like that is going to happen! LOL!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

My Baby Boy has his First Tooth

Just a quick post as I am meant to be making my mushroom sauce for our steak for tea, but I just had to let someone know that my baby Oscar has his first tooth. He was a little sooky when he woke up and when I stuck my finger in his mouth he had a little toothy peg. Poor little thing has been grumpy ever since!

Where has my baby Oscar gone!! They grow way too quick!!

HELP!! I am Addicted!

Well I think I can offically say that I am addicted to TGF Stamps. I think if you get up in the middle of the night waiting for the TGF Farmers Market, which means discounted stamps, then you must have to be slightly nutty or just a TGF Stamps addict. So needless to say I now have a heap of new TGF stamps that will make there way to me very soon, can't wait!!
"Hello, my name is Emma and I am addicted to TGF Stamps! LOL!! But they are just so darned cute!
Anyway I now have a dilema of where to store them all. I was wondering those of you out there that have TGF Stamps or Magnolias, how do you store them? I would love to hear how you have them stored! I currently have them in a clear container, although there are always a few of them scattered on my desk. But I was thinking maybe they would be better off in a folder or something.

Anyway better go and finish making my Lasange for tea. The sauce is cooking away, but I need to make the white sauce and then put it all together. I think a glass of wine might be in order to help the chef!!!

AnyaInk, Anyone for Anya and Club Anya Monday Mania

Well we are finally back from all our holidays. We spent 8 nights at Bright and came home for 2 and then another 4 nights camping in the bush at Ecucha. I need to be rolled around at the moment as I have drank and ate so much over these last few weeks LOL! But it has been fun! Oh and not to mention the nearly 70+ mozzie bites I got from camping in the bush, bloody mozzies, I hate them!!!

After so long away I have been itching to get back into some crafting. So I have managed to combine 3 challenges into this card. AnyaInk's challenge this week was to do a one layer card and I can tell you that I struggled at first with this one, but once I thought it out it came together quite quickly. I think because I usually work as I go and add things here or there, where as working on one layer meant I had to figure out my card fully before I started, but I am really happy with how it came out. Anyone for Anya's challenge this week was to have a charm on your card, so I have a little key charm in the corner with the flower. And last of all Club Anya had a bit of a tricky challenge this week which was to mask in order to get Anya and Ian closer together on the card. I have to say this proved to be a bit harder than I thought. It took me 3 goes to get it right.

Anyway back to my the details of my card:

Stamps - Princess Anya, Skater Ian and SU Medallion
Ink - Touch and Copic Markers, Brown Momento ink and SU Baja Breeze Ink
Flowers - Bizzy Bec's Rose and Leaves, purple flower (My Stash)
Other - Key Charm ( My Stash) and Purple Kindy Glitz.

I have to add that I have been toilet traning my twin girls over the last 2 months. One of my girls started about 2 months ago and the other one decided that she wanted to start yesterday, so I feel like I have spent most of my day in the toilet today. Ahh the joys of toilet training twins!!!!

AnyaInk Challenge - Black, White and One Other Color

I am so sorry this card is late in getting up. I did schedule it to post today, but I have come home from holidays to find it not posted, very frustrating. Anyway we had a great holiday, which I will fill you in about later. Although I have to say that my 10yr old son's favourite part of his holiday was meeting Bomber Footy player Matthew Loyd, who just happened to walk past our camp site! It was very Exciting! Anyway on to my AnyaInk Card.

I am so excited by this card as it marks my very first time doing a Guest DT Spot. I had so much fun putting this card together. You know how some cards just come together so quickly, this was one of those cards. I usually spend days just doing one, but this card was different. Gotta love the ones that just seem to work! The challenge this week at AnyaInk was to use black and white and one other color of your choice. So there was really only one other color I could use, PINK! So head on over to AnyaInk and see what the other DT Girls have come up with!

Stamps - TGF Fairy Chloe and SU So Swirly Wheel. Sentiment stamped off for me from my friend Annette.
Paper - SU Pretty in Pink, Su Whisper White and Black CS from my stash
Ink - Su Pretty in Pink and Copic markers
Other - Satin Ribbon and brad (from my stash) and Kindy Glitz
