Crazy Times!

Ok so I though last week was crazy, well this week topped it off...hehe!

My twins started their first day of Prep last week and my son started his first day of High School all on the same day. I have to tell you that I did get a bit upset and emotional....ok so I cried my eyes out...hehe! My girls had such a hard start to life, so it was quite emotionl to see them all healthy and grown up and starting school like big girls! Today is their first full day of school, they have been going for half days to get used to it, so they will be tired come tonight!

I have had my Smash Journal for a little while now with the intention of turning it into my Copic Color Journal, but I have just never gotten around to it, so I was inspired the other day to make a start in it, so here is my first Smash Page!

I have been writing Copic color combo's down here, there and everywhere, but of course I could never find what I had done with the peices of paper. So, I have started my Smash Copic Journal of color combo's I like. The hope is that eventually it is nice and full and when I am looking for some color combos I can just flick through my book and there I will find the color combo I am looking for.

Here is my first page in my Copic Color Journal. Of course I have done Red Hair Combos first, I do have a house full of red heads, including myself, So thought this was the perfect first page!

We would love to hear how you keep all your Copic Color Combo's. Do you have pages here, there and everywhere or do you have some sort of system going?

Wow, what a crazy week it has been here! My guys all go back to school tomorrow after 7 weeks off and well we have been running around collecting books and picking up uniforms and I swear if I see another book that needs to be contacted or pencils that need to be labeled I just might SCREAM!!!! hehe!

My oldest starts High School tomorrow and my twins start school for the first time, oh I tell you I get tears in my eyes every time I think of it and I can only image how I will be tomorrow morning! Needless to say there will be lots of photos and lots of tears, but I am happy for them, they are sooo ready for school!

I started this card before Christmas, but I never quite got it finished...Always the best of intentions...hehe! Oh well it will work for next christmas! Anyway I finished coloring it the other week and now I am one card up for christmas already...hehe!

Mad for Markers will be 2 years old.. whoo hoo!! This year my oldest starts High School, I feel like I have been talking about this moment for the last 2years and now all of a sudden it's hear! I have even been googling how to tie a tie today because he has to wear one for school and I have no idea how to do it...hehe! Let's say I now know how to do it, and it really wasn't that hard!

Anyway at Brodys Grade 6 Graduation night last year he was awarded the 'DUX' of the year award. We were so suprised and so very proud as well! Brody always works really hard and he definitely deserved this!

I have been wanted to do some scrapping for a while and have like about 8 kits from the last 8 months sitting there that I just haven't had a chance to get to. Feeling a Little Blue!

This week over on the M4M Challenge blog the girls are all trying out some new color combo's, so I thought I would have a go. I ALWAYS go for my pink copic markers, so I thought it was time I tried a few different colors. So for this Odd Girl Stamp I have used my Blue Copics, not my usual go to colors But I am happy with the outcome!

I have just started to color with these girls and they are soooo much fun to color, I am definitely going to have to get more of these Stamps! Hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas Holidays. Ok, so I know it's been a long time between posts...Sorry! I have had a lot going on lately and although I have been coloring and creating I haven't been posting.

I love this TGF Oliver stamp, he is such a cutie! I haven't had a chance to use him for a while and when I was asked for a boys card recently I decided to pull him out and ink him up.

This was a card a made for a little boys 1st birthday. Apparently the Mother of the little boy who recieved the card was so happy with the card that she has framed it! Can't say that any of my cards have ever been framed...hehe! Well there's a first for everything!

Princess Anya!

Last weekend we went to a christening of our friends little girl and my Hubby was lucky enough to be asked to be her Godfather. It was a really nice day!

I have been having so much fun participating in the TGF Heart Journalling Class, plus I have done Christy Tomlinson's Art Journalling class as well, OMG there are way too many new things that I want/NEED...hehe!

I thought I would share with you some more of my pages. I have to say that I have found Art Journalling to be really helpful in getting some things off my chest and expressing how I'm feeling! I actually didn't get much coloring done...too busy gigging at everybody elses gorgeous creations, but I did manage to have a go at a couple of new color combos.

It's Thursday again, which means it's time for another Deconstructed Sketch and this weeks sketch has to be one of my absolute favourites. It is such a classic sketch and I loved working with it!

Now I first saw these gorgeous Saturated Canary Digi's over on Krista's blog, but then I saw this image called 'Poppy, the Circus Girl' over on Claudia's blog and I knew that I had to have her. I also loved Claudia's Gold balloon, so I had to copy and have my own Gold Balloon...hehe!

Some Art Journalling!

Ok, so I have gotten caught up in the whole Art Journalling craze that is going on at the moment. I have nearly finished Christy Tomlinson's 3 Hearts - Art Journalling online course and I have to say that OMGosh that Woman is one talented lady and I have learn't SO much from her class. I am just LOVING it!

Anyway I have also been participating in the TGF Heart Journalling each week, which is great as there is a new topic each week to use to help prompt you on your pages! So I thought I would share with you a couple of the pages I have done, but I warn you that I am very new to this so please be kind...hehe!

So this page we had to do a Graditude Page. I chooose to do a page just about being thankful about my family. I know I didn't go into any detail, but I had a lot of fun playing with new techniques. If you click on the pictures it will bring up a bigger version for you to see!

Now this page was about layering, which I have done with lots of papers and paints. I just love this color combination. I had just gotten my order of Liquidtex Inks, which is a liquid acrylic paint and OMGosh I love these, I definitely need more colors. The only down side to starting something new like Art JOurnalling is finding all these new and Awesome products that I HAVE to have...hehe!

Anyway Hope you having a nice weekend, it is pretty crappy here, cold and raining, so a perfect day to craft. In fact I have just finished a Scrapbook LO, which I will share with you another time as I don't want to overload anyone! Might go and get a background ready for my next Art Journal Page!

How crafty are my kids!

It was birthday at the end of July and I have been meaning to show you all the Gorgeous Cards that my older two made for me. They sure are creating some gorgeous cards!

This first card is by my oldest. He is 11 and has only just started to use my Copics, but he is picking it up so quickly. I was so impressed when he gave it to me.

This second card was done by my oldest daughter, who is 10. She has been using my Copics for a while and she is actually really good now. I mean look at that hair, pretty cool huh!

Do you think they both know that my favourite color is Pink... hehe! Pretty obvious hey! Anyway just wanted to show off how very talented these guys are!

Plus I was a very lucky girl and got an iphone for my birthday. I HAVE been nagging my hubby for one for about the last few months and I was very excited when I got one for my birthday. I have to say that I LOVE it. It is so much fun and I am totally addicted to Words with Friends, love it...hehe!

I have something a little different for you today, I have been so inspired by all this Gorgeous Art Journalling that I have been seeing lately that I just had to have a go! Plus TGF is doing and Art Journalling like challenge and the first challenge is wings and things. So this is my entry for this weeks challenge.

The very first time I saw Art Journalling was on the very Talented Jen Shults Blog, WOW her stuff is Amazing!

I have to say that I had soooo much fun doing this and I am definitely going to be doing more and considering that it is my very first page I am really happy with how it turned out. But of course I had to use my absouletly favourite stamps, TGF and of course my Copics....they are always close by....hehe!

I just love the idea that every Frog could be just 1 kiss away from being your Prince Charming! Although lucky for me I found my Prince Charming 17 years ago this Saturday. I can't believe that I met my Husband 17 years ago this weekend and we have been inseparable ever since, crazy huh! Love ya baby!

Yesterday was my Twins 5th Birthday! I can't believe that are now 5, time sure flies when your having fun! We did attempt to go to the Melbourne Zoo for the day, but as we headed off it started to rain, so we changed our minds and headed off to the Melbourne Aquarium. We had a Great time, one of my girls fell in love with the great BIG Grey Nurse Shark, she followed it around the Aquarium as it swum around!

Anyway so for Lily's card I have used this weeks Deconstructed Sketch. I have actually turned the sketch on it's side, so if your having trouble seeing the sketch in my card just image it turned around!

Bubbles & Red Velvet!

I just LOVE Masterchef and in a couple of the latest episodes the have made these Red Velvet Cupcakes, so I decided to look them up and find a recipee and give them a go. While I was making these I was chatting away to the lovely Sammi and she demanded that I take pictures to show her the finished result...hehe! So Sammi, this is for you...hehe! Here is what they looked like and I have to say the were absolutely delicious, everyone loved them.

There seem to be lots of these Gorgeous Banners floating around on LO's lately and so I decided to give them a go on this page of my youngest playing with his bubbles. I am really happy with how it turned out. I wanted to keep this LO simple to show off the photos of Oscar playing with the bubbles!

I am having so much fun scrapping at the moment, you will definietly be seeing more from me! Especially after today I recieved my July Nook kit and OMGosh it is Gorgeous! Lots of October Afternoon 5 & Dime, and it is very NICE...hehe!

So today is my friend Annette's birthday and ANYONE who knows Annette knows that her favourite color is PURPLE. So here is the card I made for her. I was going to go with all Purple, but I then decided that it needed something else so I added in a small bit of yellow, I am really happy with it! And so was Annette when I gave it to her this morning!

I have tried a different hair combination today, more of a golden brown! I really like it. I am about to start to put together a note book with all different copic color combinations that I have tried or am trying. Just to keep a record of different combinations that I like. So many times I try a new one, but then down the track forget what it was I used, so I am hoping this will expand my colors that I use, lets hope so anyway....hehe!

How cool is WS Ryan. I love his hair, it is just so much fun to color. I thought I would show Ryan a little bit of love, as he was feeling a little left out seeing as his Princess Friends are getting plenty of Love over at the Farm due to the Fabulous TGF Royalty competition. A special friend of my girls is turning five just a couple of days after my girls, so this is the card we made for him.

Well I need to go and get my girls Dressed for the day and go and sort out what sounds like World War 3 going on in my lounge room....hehe!

We have a busy weekend with my Daughter Ella going for her next Karate belt this afternoon, it is usually pretty full on and she always does sooo well! We also have my oldest Son Brody playing his 50th Footy Game tomorrow. So he has lots of family coming to watch him and we have spent last night making him a banner to run through, it has come up pretty well!

I have been playing around with my shading lately trying to get my skin to have more depth, you know like where you can make out a nose and shadowing in the corner of the eyes. Well my first attempt was pretty bad so I kept going wih another image and this is what I ended up with. I am pretty happy with her face, but I still need to practise! But, Oh well practise makes Perfect right?

Another Scrap LO!

I created this LO for the Purple Pumpkin Sketch Challenge! I just love the embellishments you can get from them. I have used a Purple Pumpkin flower on this LO, I love how bright and funky it looks!

I have also used my April 'Nook' kit to create most of this LO with. I have to say that the colors and Papers from the April Kit are so not papers and colors I would normally pick, but I have to say that I have really enjoyed using this kit. Maybe I will get a chance to use my May kit before the July kit comes along...hehe!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow!

We took these photos of a Rainbow that was over our house a month or so ago and I have been wanting to scrap them ever since. I just love how the Rainbow goes right over the top of our house, it's looks pretty cool!

Over at My Scrapbooking Nook, one of the girls came up with a great challenge which was to use a Song Title in your LO, so here is mine, whch I have also created using the April Nook kit. I am slowly going through this one, so hopefully I will get to the May kit before the July one comes...hehe!

I do have another LO I have finished earlier this week using the April Nook kit as well. I will try to photograh it and put it up in the next few days. I am finding photograhing Scrap LO's a little harder than cards. Does anyone have anything in particular that they do when they take photos of their LO's?

Ok so I need to go and make a start on some Pumpkin Soup that I have been promising Hubby I am going to make for the last week...hehe! Should make him happy when he gets back from taking Ella to her State Training Karate session!

Don't you just love it! I love round cards, they alwasy look just that little bit fancy...hehe! So here is my Wedding Themed card with the Gorgeous new Princess 3, I think she is just perfect for a Wedding Card!

Well it has been a crazy week here, we have a couple of sickies and it is not much fun, up most of the nights and then not very happy during the day. My youngest vomitted everywhere in the car today when I was on my way to an appointment. Needless to say I was late as I had to pull over and fix him up, my poor little man!

Well Lil Pinkette August that is...hehe!

I have been working on this box for a little while and have finally finished it. It was all done with the exception of the image colored in, so when I saw that this weeks challenge over at Tickled Pink was 'Anything Goes', I decided that now was the time to finish it.

My daughter got an Ipod Touch for her birthday and I decided to make this box for her to keep it in. She usually just leaves things around her room where her little brother can grab them and wreck them. Like last year when she got an Ipod Nano and 2 weeks after getting it her little brother had dunked it into the toliet like it ws a biscuit he was dunking in his coffee. Needless to say he stuffed it and we had to buy her a new one.....Ggrrhhhh!

SO I decided that this new Ipod Touch needed a better home.......

So she has been keeping her Ipod Touch in it SO far, well it has only been a day...hehe!

We have had a pretty busy weekend with Karate and Footy here. On Friday night we had the Karate Victoria Dinner where they announced the Victorian State Team and I am SOOOOO excited to tell you that my 10yr old Daughter Miss Ella was selected....YAY! So it is on to the Nationals competition for her in August, which lucky for her and her Dad, is in Caloundra, QLD. We are so proud of Ella, she has been working really hard to get selected and all her hard work has paid off!

Ok so not to forget my Son Brody who kicked a Goal at footy yesterday, we were very excited. Way to go Brody! Plus they won as well, which always makes the day better...hehe!

Anyway I am off to take kids to the Dr's as I have 2 kids that are pretty sick and have been all weekend. I just hope they don't pass it on to anyone else, don't like my chances...hehe!

Hello! It is going to be a ROYAL month ahead at The Greeting Farm and today's first preview is a pretty good indication of just HOW royal...Introducing Princess 2! With TGF's 3rd birthday being only a few months away, we were getting nostalgic and remembered just how popular "Princess Anya" was when she first took her throne as one of the first beloved Anyas. She has evolved so much since then, but really, who DOESN'T love royalty? Because of her timeless beauty AND the fact that we love to play dress-up here on the Farm, we are expanding the Princess collection and here she is, Princess 2:

Can you believe that it's Thursday again! Well it is and we have a new sketch for you over at Deconstructed Sketches. I am just having so much fun with these Sketches, hope you guys are as well!

When I was trying to decide which stamp to use for this card, I started thinking that I end up with soooo many Girly type cards and that I don't really have any boy ones in my stash, so I decided that I was going to make a boys card. It's not for anyone in particular, just building up my stash...hehe! So of course I was ALWAYS going to use a TGF image, are there any other stamps out there!

TGF Designer Spotlight!

For todays Designer Spotlight I thought I would share with you a few of my ALL time favourite things, or at least for the moment anyway...hehe!

Of Course I could not create without my very first Stamping Love, which has to be the GORGEOUS TGF Stamps, ok so I know I am a little biased, but OMG they are the Absolute BEST!!!

So putting aside the MUST have stamps, my next Favourite thing which I can not create without is of course my COPIC Markers. I absolutely love them and of course they are the Perfect Match with all of the TGF Stamps. But lately I am seeing some Fabulous coloring that hasn't used Copic Markers, so it really is down to personal choice!

Another Favourtie of mine is Paper Flowers, Love, love, love these, in fact the more on my cards the better...hehe!

And one of my newest loves is the very BIG Ink Splatter craze that is going around! I just love the look of the ink droplets on my pages or cards, but of course I am always worried that I am going to wreck my card or page by dropping ink on the wrong spot and then my card or page would be ruined and after all the hard work we put into our creations that would be a COMPLETE disaster! So I got a great tip the other day, which was to cover up all the bits that you don't want to get ink on and then splatter your ink on your creation, that way none of your good bits will get ruined. But of course we here at TGF have a Fantastic new stamp where I don't have to worry about where the ink is going to go as we have our brand new Ink Splatter Background Stamp called, "Splotchy".

I am going to share with you a new card I made using one of our NEWEST releases, "The Splotchy Background" Stamp. I have used it around the edges of my page in Vintage Photo distress ink, doesn't it look cool! I love how you can get that Ink Splatter look with out having to ACTUALLY Splatter ink all over your card! So problem solved with the ink splatters. No more worring about if I'm going to drop ink in the wrong place or not!

This week over at Mad For Markers we have a new challenge where we want you to use your Copic Markers to color your embellishments! I have used YG17 and R24 to color up my two chipboard butterflies. I then stamped them with a script stamp and then used Dimensional Magic to gloss them up. I am really happy with how they came up. The beauty of Copic Markers is that you can always color up your embellishments to match perfectly with whatever you are doing! So make sure to get creative and enter into this fortnights challenge and for all your Copic Needs head over to the Mad For Markers Store!

I have been desperate to get back into my Scrapbooking and after seeing so many Gorgeous Creations about lately I decided to sign up for the 'My Scrapbook Nook' Kits. So every month you get this fantastic kit which all co-ordinates together perfectly. I have made this scrapbook page from the April kit and I have to say that I had a lot of fun doing this page and can't wait to do some more Scrappin!

I have also used on this page some Gorgeous Purple Pumpkin Embellishments. I have used the spotty button, as well as two of the dolieys. They have so many Gorgeous handmade embellishments. They also have their very first scrap challenge going on at the moment and I am entering this into their challenge.

The theme for this challenge is "CRAFTS" so, (Colors, Ribbon, Acrylic, Floral, Twine, Stamps) -use any or ALL of the above on your card/project. Such an easy one when you consider all of these are a must on any card!

My card below is for my Daughters 10th birthday, which is this Monday. So I need to keep her away from my blog until then as I don't want her to see it before then! Might have to ban her from the computer until after Monday...hehe! So don't tell her what her card looks like....hehe!

Every time I get the New TGF Releases she has to create with them as well! I think I may have another TGF Addict...hehe!

M4M's Coloring with Greys!

Over at M4M's we have a new challenge going and it's all about coloring with your Grey's! So for those of you who have never colored in using your greys now is your chance to have a go.

I just love coloring with my Grey's. I love the whole Old Black and White photo look that you get from doing your image all in Grey's! I tend to mostly use my W Greys when I'm doing this, mostly because it still has a little bit of the warmth still there.

So here is a card I made for a friend who was after a baby card! I just Adore these Webster Papers, they are so Vintagey!

We have another HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT for you today. Announcing our 2nd annual "CARDS FOR A CAUSE" event!

Last year you really brought us to tears and smiles on our faces with our 1st card drive. Due to it's success, we are rallying the troops again for a 2nd one and well, we're making it ANNUAL!

This year, we were moved beyond measure with so many emotions for the people of Japan as we watched live video of the earthquakes and tsunami that devastated so many people on March 11, 2011. It broke my heart to see videos of families in shelters, children looking terrified and not understanding what happened. Some of those families lost everything and when our loyal TGF customer Natalie Shaw emailed me a link to a school that we could send in handmade encouragement cards for children, we knew this was going to be something TGF wanted to be involved in! Our images are PERFECT to cheer up a child and we really hope you will play along!

A new Baby Girl!

So it's time for another TGF Thursday Throwback! Ok so you know the drill, Thursday Throwback is where we pull out an older TGF stamp and show it some love!

My little Man turns 2 next month and so while I was going through my massive amount of TGF stamps I came across Oliver with his Dinosaurs, from the Oliver & Amelia Happy Day set! How cute is he!!!! I haven't used this stamp for such a long time, so I decided to give him a little bit of Love! I actually wiped off the two dinosaurs that are at Olivers feet, as I thought they took up too much room for what I had in mind for this card! Of course my little man is a redhead so of course I had to color his hair in red!

TGF Designer Spotlight!

Today over on The Greeting Farm Blog, it is our first ever Designer Spotlight and Yep, you guessed it, first up is ME!!!!! So I thought why not tell you all a little bit about myself.......

Ok so here goes...Hi my name is Emma and I live in Australia with my Wonderful Husband and 5 kids, aging from 11 to 22months. I first got into crafting through Scrapbooking when my daughter was 2, so that was nearly 8 years ago....WOW where does the time go...hehe! And recently have discovered the wonderful world of Cards, Copics and of course The Greeting Farm, all of which just go hand in hand.

The first time I saw a Greeting Farm image was on someones blog and I remember being completely wowed, and of course I fell in love and knew I needed to find out more about how I could get my hands on these stamps. So within a few days I had put an order in. I still remember the first stamp I got, it was Princess Anya. I remember seeing all the Gorgeous creations that the DT girls were creating and thinking that I could never be THAT good, but I hoped that one day I would, and so I set my goals on one day being on 'The Greeting Farm' DT and well look at me know...Dreams do come true! Whooo Hoooo!!!!! (Must admit that I never actually thought this would happen...hehe!)

So do you want to know what my all time favourite TGF Stamp is.....Well it has to be any one of the Creepers, OMGosh they are just GORGEOUS, I think it has something to do with their Attitude and Spunk. I do tend to like the girls more than the boys, but with these guys they are all FABULOUS!

What's Creepy, Yet Gorgeous and lives under the Sea?

There's something fishy going on at the Farm...something a little creepy too...something TOTALLY new! After the success of TGF's Digital mermaid line last year, we've had some requests for rubber and we are PROUD to introduce "SYREN!"

I have to say that my all time favourite TGF Stamps are the Creepers, I don't know what it is, but I just Love them and Miss Syren is no exception! You can totally image her being a hit with the Mermen down in Creeper Town...hehe! And you know what, why wouldn'y she be, l mean look at her, she oozes Sassy and Attitude!

Ok so not too sure if everyone saw Ella's card in my last post, but her card made Top 3 over at 'Make it Colourful'. She was hasseling me to check everyday at least 3 times a day to check to see if she had won, so it was a long few days for her...hehe! So finallyon Tuesday when we checked she had made the top 3. She was very excited and asked 'What do I win?'. I told her that she didn't win anything, but she got to display this badge on my blog. She was kind of happy with that....hehe...you know 9 year old girls, it's all about what THEY can get..hehe! Anyway she can't wait for the next challenge to start, so thanks so much to all the girls over at Make it Colourful for the fabulous challenge and Ella is definitely looking forward to playing along next time!

Make it Crafty Kids Challenge!

Over at Make It Colorful they have started a kids challenge. As soon as I told my Daughter Ella about it she wanted to play along. So the challenge was to use Pink in your coloring. Ella made a card with Tilda, which she colored in Pink and she also colored up Fancy Anya in Pink, but she hasn't had a chance to put it onto a card yet.

She is doing so well with her coloring lately, might have a bit of competition...hehe!

Down on the Farm this week for FFF we want you to get out your Favourite color and create a Monochromatic Card. Ok so it doesn't have to be your favourite color, but it's so much more fun to create with your favourite color...hehe!

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved the color PINK, I am always drawn to anything Pink....hehe! So it is no suprise that when it comes to creating I always look to my stash of Pink paper first. A FFF Color Challenge!

Today over at the Farm we have a new FFF for you and this week we have a color challenge for you! Aren't these colors just Gorgeous! Very Spring Time....hehe! Reminds me of Lemon Meringue and Lime Pies....ummm....I'm getting hungry just thinking about it...hehe!

Ok So I have to admit that these are sooo NOT my usual colors and I was a little nervous with them, but I am soooo happy with the end result. Sometimes a challenge really is a challenge...hehe! I seem to be steping outside my comfort a lot lately with using different colors. Hey at least I am giving some of my less used Copic Markers a little bit of love...hehe! It's time for some M4M's Friday Inspiration! Our current M4M challenge is to use your Brown Copics and make a male card. Now I have to say that male cards are NOT my strong point, I think it has to do with the lack of flowers and bling....hehe! BuT I am happy with how this card turned out!

I have kind of become addicted to this hair color combo over the last few months, so I have used my brown copics for my hair as well as for his pants!

Something Different!

I have been seeing some GORGEOUS Scrap LO's over on the Lovely Tanya's Blog and she has inspired me to do some scrappin, so Thank-you Tanya! I should also mention that I have borrowed a couple of Tanyas fantastic ideas from some of her LO's, so hope you don't mind Tanya!

Tanya also hosts a challenge blog called 'Get Picky', and so I decided why not enter. This week they have a photo inspiration challenge, here is the photo. Isn't this just Gorgeous! Now I haven't gone with the colors from the photo, but I have gone with the flowers and romance of it, by scrapping a LO of me and my Amazing Husband!

I finally got my hands on some Graphic 45, Once upon a springtime paper and I have to say that I LOVE it! I had so much fun Scrapping this LO, You will definitely be seeing more scrapping from me!

A christmas FFF!

Well it's time for another FFF and this week over at the Farm we want you to use up some off your Christmas Stash. Now it doesn't have to be a christmas card, although I have made mine into one, just as long as it usues up some of your stash of Christmas Gear and lets face we all have plenty of that lying around...hehe!

For my card I pulled out my Basic Grey Jovial paper pad, so all of my papers are from this pad. I then decided to use cheeky Beach and make my card into a christmas card as down here in Australia we have our Christmas in Summer, so cheeky beach is perfect for an Australian Christmas! I also bought this gorgeous Christmas sentiment and die set from tickled Pink Stamps last year, but for some reason I never used it, so I decided it was time this set got some love and I can tell you that this will definitely get a lot of love come christmas time this year!

Anyone for the Beach!

Who dosen't love going to the beach, the warm days, the fun in the sun and of course the sand between your toes! Being that over here in Australia we are just about at the end of our Summer, we have spent quite a bit of time down at the beach. Another girl who loves the beach is our NEW March Release....

This week the Farmers have joined in with the Club Anya Girls for Sketch Saturday, so I have used this Gorgeous Sketch done by the Lovely Jen.

Now I have altered this sketch just a little, it wasn't my intention it was just how it all turned out, but you can still see the sketch in there!

I have gone with Summery colors to make this feel bright and cheery, which is definitely what Summer does to you! Cheeky definitely looks like a girl who would have lots of fun down at the beach...hehe!

Thursday Throwback with TGF!

Hey there, Farmer Emma here to welcome you to Thursday throwback with TGF. The idea for Thursday Throwback is give a little bit of love to some of our older TGF stamps. You know those ones that you've had for quite a while, but they haven't seen any ink for a little while! Well we want you to get them out and show them some love...hehe!

I Love this Cowboy Ian, he is such a little Man in his cowboy outfit, the perfect stamp for a boys card, which I have to say is something I don't make enough of! So I thought it was time to give him a little love and to also add a boys card to my pile of seriously girly cards....hehe!

I was thinking how every little boy dreams about being a cowboy at some stage, so I thought this paper and sentiment was perfect to use with this card!

I hope this inspires you to pull out your less loved TGF Stamps and show them a little love. Otherwise you can find Cowboy Ian and all of his friends over at the TGF Store, here!

Textures with FFF!

Hi There and welcome to another FFF. Todays FFF we want you to use at least 2 different TEXTURES on your card! So on my card below I have used Ribbon, a brad and some Corrugated cardboard. I am just loving the texture that this adds to your cards!

I have also colored my Cheeky in using my Copic Warm Greys and I have to say that I have really been enjoying coloring with these, so you will definitely be seeing a lot more of them...hehe!

A Just Because Card!

Ok So I have finally been able to just have a play and craft, just Because...hehe! I have finished all my Feb DT requirements which has left me with some time to just play! I won this Gorgeous Tila stamp over at Tickled Pinks 12 Days of Christmas and have been hanging to ink her up, so she has finally gotten a little love.

I have been playing with getting my folds and creases and though I'm not completely happy with these, I am not unhappy, if that makes sense...hehe! I definitely need to keep working on these, but hey, that's half the fun!

FFF Color Challenge with M4M's Crazy hair!

Over at the Farm today we have a color challenge for you for our FFF. The colors are Raspberry Fizz, Aqua Mist and a color of your choice.

I have chosen Kraft. I am having so much fun using Kraft at the moment. I have to thank the lovely Kellie for my new love for it, I am loving all her Krafty creations at the moment. I also need to say a great big thank-you to another Lovely Crafty girl, Kristy. Now the other week when I was crafting with Kristy and Kellie, Kristy got me into creating my card first and then coloring my image last and I have to say at first I thought...ummmnnn not too sure about this....BUT I have to say I have been making my cards like this since that night and I am LOVING it! I am getting so much done a lot quicker. So thanks Kristy...hehe!

A Sew Adorable FFF!

Hey there, I hope you have all recovered from our Fabulous Release this month, OMGosh there were soooo many Gorgeous new TGF stamps!

So onto todays FFF -

Todays FFF is 'Sew Adorable'. Yep that's right SEW Adorable! We want to see your sewing skills put into action, but don't worry if you don't have a sewing machine, it can be faux sewing or hand stitching. I have to say that when I first saw this challenge I thought, 'Oh No'. I have never used my sewing machine on my cards, but this was the perfect oportunity to get it out and have a go and I have to say that I am pretty pleased with the result!

I have been so many black and white colored images and decided it was time that I gave it a go. I am really happy with it and I think you will be seeing a lot more black and white colored images coming from me!
