Sketchy Saturday with my new TGF Cheeky!

I was a very lucky girl at the last TGF Blog Hop and I won the three new release Cheeky's and after stalking the Postie for the last week, my new stamps came this week. So of course the first thing I had to do was stamp them off and play! Glamour Cheeky is my favourite of the three, and she definitely lives up to her name! Do you like the fish nets I gave her, very sexy hey! Hehehe.....

This Card is entered into the following Challenges:
Club Anya & Friends - Sketchy Saturday

Oh Alice Challenge - Chapter One

I have to say that I was very excited when the Oh Alice challenge blog started up, Jessica has done an amazing job! If you get the chance you should pop over and have a go as well as check out all the amazing DT inspiration. The very first challenge was 'Alice gets Glam' and we had the following picture to use as inspiration. How gorgeous is this make-up kit!
Any way as soon as I saw this I knew exactly what paper I was going to use and then everything else just came together. I have glittered up my mushrooms and added some dimensional magic to Alice's headband. I had a lot of fun doing this challenge and I look forward to next weeks challenge!

Happy Birthday Hubby!

It is my husbands birthday this Thursday and so this is the card I have come up with. He is a mad surfer when he finds the time, so I thought this would be the perfect stamp and paper. I think this paper makes it look like he's surfing. Hope he like's it! CA&F's WCW this week was to paper peice, so I have paper pieced his boardies and his surfboard.

My Second Sweetpea!

Here is my second Sweetpea stamps. This gorgeous stamp is Ching-Chou Kuik's 'Shining On' Haiti Relief Stamp. I colored this image uasing my copics and followed the Whimsical Wednesday color challenge for this week.

These are great colors and I'm really happy with how it turned out. You should head over there to see Randi's gorgeous card using these colors and why not have a go yourself! Thanks for the color inspiration Jessica! Well as much I would love to keep crafting, I probably should go and feed the baby and do some dishes and some ironing!! It is never ending! lol! Thank God it's Friday is all I can say!

My First SweetPea!

My postie left me a little something on Tuesday to play with. I was very excited when I opened it to find it was my new Sweetpea Stamps. So I had to mount them straight away and ink them up. So here is the finished result. These stamps are just gorgeous and I have another couple that I am in the middle of coloring, so hopefully will finish those tonight. When I take my daughter to karate I take my copics and color in for the hour while I sit there and I do get a few funny looks from some of the other parents, they must think I am a bit old to still be coloring in!!!

My card featured on Flutterby Wednesdays!

I have to send out a big thank-you to Sammi for alerting me to the fact that my last card has been featured on Flutterby Wednesdays. I am so excited to see it up there!! Can you here my screaming!! I also want to thank Danni and the rest of the Flutterby team for using my card. Anyway just wanted to let you all know how excited I was, did I tell you how excited I am!! ha ha ha! Well gotta go desperate housewifes is about to start.

AnyaInk and Anyone for Anya

I did originally stamp this image off to use in CA&F Red Work challenge, but didn't get time to finish her before the challenge ended. Anyway I decided to use her for AnyaInk's challenge this week which is to do a monochromatic card. I have also entered it into Anyone for Anya who have a flower theme this week. I have to admit that I am having so much fun making these bows up, sorry if you are sick of seeing them, but they are so easy to make and I just love the look of them.

CA&F Sketchy Saturday and Monday Mania + Flutterby Wednesday

I was hoping to have this card finished yesterday, but when I dropped my Daughter off at Karate last night and went to Spotlight to buy some ribbon, I was very dissappointed to find that it had closed for the night. I thought for sure it would be open till 9pm, but no they close at 7pm! So I had to wait until today to buy the ribbon and then finish this card. I have entered this card into Sketchy Saturday, but I didn't have room for the 3 buttons at the top so I could only fit 2, hope that this is ok!! If not I understand. here is the sketch:
CA&F Monday Mania was to make a Valentines card without using pink or red. Now I love Pink so this was hard for me, but I managed to do it and you know what I am actually really happy with it. And last but not least Flutterby Wednesday's was a love theme with a butterfly, fairy or angel on your card, so I have an angel on mine.

I have another couple of cards that I am hopping to finish tonight so I should have a couple more to show tomorrow.

I am very excited as my little Oscar who will be nine months next week has slept through the night for the last 2 nights. Hooray!! Now all I need to do is teach the twins how to do the same. They have been in a big bed for 12 months now and they had started to not come in as much over the last couple of months. They were coming in about 3 - 4 times a night, but we got them to give their dummies up about a month ago and they are back to coming in about 4 times a night. OMG it is driving me insane!! So just need to get Oscar to teach the girls and all will be great. Not too sure about my chances though!!

AnyaInk

The challenge this week at AnyaInk, was to use this sketch to create your card with. As you can see I have flipped the sketch on it's side. My son has a birthday party tomorrow and I have so many girls cards, but no boy cards! For some reason when I make a card I tend to do a girls card, must have something to do with all the pretty flowers and ribbons and other girly stuff that I have tons of!

Card Details:
Stamp - Skater Ian and bizzy Becs Digi ticket sentiment
Ink - Copic and Touch Markers, SU Close to Coco
Paper - DSP Basic Grey and SU cardstock
Other - Brads, buttons and stars from my stash

Just a quick post as I have got to go and ice my lemon cake which is cooling as I type. I have been wanting to bake all week, but it has been too hot, so today being a bit cooler was the perfect day. Just need to go and make my lemon cream cheese icing and it's all finished. Am so looking forward to a peice with a nice cup of coffee.

A Joint Effort!

When the postie came the other day he had some new Martha Stewart punches for me. I just love so many of her punches, which is never good for the credit card!! I saw this deep edge one on quite a few cards and knew I had to have it, isn't it just gorgeous!! Anyway couldn't wait to use it so here it is.

The other day I was giging at some beautiful blogs and I came across this fantastic bow making tutorial on Cheryl Walker's Blog. Cheryl is a TFG Farmer and all her work is just stunning so is definitely worth a look. Thanks a lot Cheryl for the tutorial. There is no excuse for me not to have gorgeous looking bows from now on!! So of course when I saw the Monday Mania challenge was to include ribbon, I knew this was my chance to try out Cheryl's bow's and I am pretty happy with the way it turned out.
