Ragamuffin Lolita!

Well I am just a little bit Excited this morning.....I just got tickets to Lady Gaga's Melbourne concert....I can't wait, it is going to be Awesome. Only one problem....I have to wait until the end of June to go, Hurry up June!

Ok, so onto my card, I am having a lot of fun at the moment coloring 'Saturated Canary Digi's'. They are just sooo adorable! This girl is called 'Lolita, A Ragamuffin waiting for Fairies'. 

Over on the Copic Oz blog they are having a challenge where you can win  the new set of Copic Markers that have just been released, so I am entering this into that challenge. Obvioulsy I don't have the new colors yet, but I have used as close I can with this card.

Crazy Times!

Ok so I though last week was crazy, well this week topped it off...hehe!

My twins started their first day of Prep last week and my son started his first day of High School all on the same day. I have to tell you that I did get a bit upset and emotional....ok so I cried my eyes out...hehe! My girls had such a hard start to life, so it was quite emotionl to see them all healthy and grown up and starting school like big girls! Today is their first full day of school, they have been going for half days to get used to it, so they will be tired come tonight!

I have had my Smash Journal for a little while now with the intention of turning it into my Copic Color Journal, but I have just never gotten around to it, so I was inspired the other day to make a start in it, so here is my first Smash Page!

I have been writing Copic color combo's down here, there and everywhere, but of course I could never find what I had done with the peices of paper. So, I have started my Smash Copic Journal of color combo's I like. The hope is that eventually it is nice and full and when I am looking for some color combos I can just flick through my book and there I will find the color combo I am looking for.

Here is my first page in my Copic Color Journal. Of course I have done Red Hair Combos first, I do have a house full of red heads, including myself, So thought this was the perfect first page!

My babies are growing up!

Wow, what a crazy week it has been here! My guys all go back to school tomorrow after 7 weeks off and well we have been running around collecting books and picking up uniforms and I swear if I see another book that needs to be contacted or pencils that need to be labeled I just might SCREAM!!!! hehe!

My oldest starts High School tomorrow and my twins start school for the first time, oh I tell you I get tears in my eyes every time I think of it and I can only image how I will be tomorrow morning! Needless to say there will be lots of photos and lots of tears, but I am happy for them, they are sooo ready for school!

I started this card before Christmas, but I never quite got it finished...Always the best of intentions...hehe! Oh well it will work for next christmas! Anyway I finished coloring it the other week and now I am one card up for christmas already...hehe!

Mad For Markers is Turning 2!

Mad for Markers will be 2 years old.. whoo hoo!! To Celebrate and thank all the followers and customers over the last couple of years we are having a month long party... starting on 22 Feb (the date the business name was registered) .. .all the way through until the 22 March (the date the webstore went live) .. and there just might (um... err "will") be some NEW images available, games to play, blogs to visit, and of course what is a party without some some candy to celebrate :)

I am Famous!!!

Ok so maybe not Famous, but pretty close...hehe! I was lucky enough to have 3 of my cards accepted to be published early last year and FINALLY yesterday the magazine was released and there were my cards.....YAY! I have to say that everyone was home when my son brought the mail in and so when we realized that it was THE magazine we ripped it open and of course there they were. There were high 5's going everywhere...hehe!

This year my oldest starts High School, I feel like I have been talking about this moment for the last 2years and now all of a sudden it's hear! I have even been googling how to tie a tie today because he has to wear one for school and I have no idea how to do it...hehe! Let's say I now know how to do it, and it really wasn't that hard!

Anyway at Brodys Grade 6 Graduation night last year he was awarded the 'DUX' of the year award. We were so suprised and so very proud as well! Brody always works really hard and he definitely deserved this!

I have been wanted to do some scrapping for a while and have like about 8 kits from the last 8 months sitting there that I just haven't had a chance to get to. I have just cancelled my subscription as I sooo can't keep up with them...hehe! There just never seems to be enough time! Anyway here is a page I scrapped about Brody's 'Dux' Award
