Are you Naughty or Nice.....?

Hello EVERYONE!  Hope you all had a very MERRY Christmas and that it was full of magic and memories!

We are beginning January previews today with some HUGE news and fun announcements...are you all ready?  First and foremost, we have some HELLO's and Goodbyes.   The Greeting Farm would like to thank Melyssa and Randi as their terms with TGF are ending and we wish them both well!  From now on, TGF Farmers terms will be 6 months long instead of one year and although it probably won't make it any EASIER to say goodbye to our talented designers, we are excited about this!

Also saying goodbye this week are the FABULOUS members of our Critter Crew. Not because their terms are up, but because the Critter Crew itself will no longer be considered a 'team' of TGF. While we will surely have a cute critter by Marina from time to time, we will no longer be releasing these on a regular basis and it is with an ENORMOUS amount of gratitude that we say goodbye to such a WONDERFUL team of designers!  Thank you all so much!

Well, now that we've gotten the sad part out of the way, we have THREE NEW FARMERS to welcome to TGF and a new Guest Designer that we are THRILLED about!   Please welcome:
EMMA EADS - Me!!!!!
SARI HANNINEN as our
THREE NEW FARMERS and please welcome

BUTTERCUP as our January Guest Designer!

TONS of excitement going on around the FARM!  And as if that werent enough?   Check out our first preview, a Cheeky Cherry "NAUGHTY or NICE" set!

So it is wothout further ado that I bring you my very first TGF Card as a Farmer....oh that sounds good..hehe!

Introducing you to Naughty & Nice............Isn't she just Adorable!

I made this card for my best friend as a Thank-you card as she helped me out through a pretty rough time a little while ago and as soon as I saw this gorgeous Angel I knew that she would be perfect to use, as my best friend certainly was my Angel!

Be sure to head on over and WELCOME our new designers and to visit ALL The TGF DT, including Team Anya as they have previews for you today too!  We'll see you back tomorrow on the TGF Blog with a chance to WIN a new Oliver and Amelia set!

Chapter 43: CHRISTMAS-GREETINGS. [FROM A FAIRY TO A CHILD.]

LADY dear, if Fairies may
For a moment lay aside
Cunning tricks and elfish play,
'Tis at happy Christmas-tide.

We have heard the children say—
Gentle children. whom we love—
Long ago, on Christmas Day,
Came a message from above.

Still, as Christmas-tide comes round,
They remember it again—
Echo still the joyful sound
"Peace on earth, good-will to men!"

Yet the hearts must childlike be
Where such heavenly guests abide;
Unto children, in their glee,
All the year is Christmas-tide!

Thus, forgetting tricks and play
For a moment, Lady dear,
We would wish you, if we may,
Merry Christmas, glad New Year!
Christmas, 1867.

Welcome down the rabbit hole once again my friends. This poem by Lewis Carroll was found in the back of a copy of Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There. In researching the history of this poem I found the All Saints, the Lewis Carroll Memorial Window at Daniell Chapel in England. The 3 centre panels contain verses from this Lewis Carroll’s poem. The window was designed by the stained glass artist Geoffrey Webb and depicts a Nativity scene, at which both Carroll and Alice are present. This is a must see for anyone that loves Wonderland.

For our challenge this week let's get into the Christmas spirit. The challenge is to use red, green, + one color. You can still use other colors for hair and skin. Just make the main use of color red, green, + one.

Our wonderful sponsor this week is Pixie Dust Studio. The lucky winner will receive your choice of 2 digital images.

Make sure to pop past the Oh Alice Blog to see the rest of the Amazing DT creations!

CHAPTER 42: The Flowers are Talking!

`O Tiger-lily,' said Alice, addressing herself to one that was waving gracefully about in the wind, `I wish you could talk!' `We can talk,' said the Tiger-lily: `when there's anybody worth talking to." Alice was so astonished that she could not speak for a minute: it quite seemed to take her breath away. At length, as the Tiger-lily only went on waving about, she spoke again, in a timid voice -- almost in a whisper. `And can all the flowers talk?' `As well as all can,' said the Tiger-lily. `And a great deal louder.'

Hello from all of us in Wonderland! This week we would like you to have a go at making your own flowers! So get fun creating, we can't wait to see what you come up with!

This week we are being sponsered by 'Some Odd Girl', who have gorgeous Digi Stamps that the DT have been luckily enough to create with this week. Make sure to pop past the Oh Alice Blog to see what they have created!

CHAPTER 41: Off With Their Heads!

`Let's go on with the game,' the Queen said to Alice; and Alice was too much frightened to say a word, but slowly followed her back to the croquet-ground.

The other guests had taken advantage of the Queen's absence, and were resting in the shade: however, the moment they saw her, they hurried back to the game, the Queen merely remarking that a moment's delay would cost them their lives.

All the time they were playing the Queen never left off quarrelling with the other players, and shouting `Off with his head!' or `Off with her head!' Those whom she sentenced were taken into custody by the soldiers, who of course had to leave off being arches to do this, so that by the end of half an hour or so there were no arches left, and all the players, except the King, the Queen, and Alice, were in custody and under sentence of execution.

So Welcome back to the land of wonder and where the saying, 'Off with her head' is a regular statement! Well here in wonderland this week, that is exactly what we want you to do. This week we want you to take your stamps and yep you guessed it,'Off with their heads'. So we are asking you to alter your stamps and mix it up a little by giving them a new head or body. Ohhh this is going to be sooo much fun seeing what you come up with!!!

Up for grabs this week is a Scor Buddy from the lovely people at
http://www.scrappingreatdeals.comSo off with their heads for your chance to win this awesome prize. You have until the 3rd of Dec to play along with us.

Ella's 2nd time using Copics!

Today is my son's 11th birthday, Happy Birthday Brody!

So yesterday his sister Ella, who is 9,  decided she wanted to make him a card, which is a big thing, as most of the time these two are trying to kill each other, so the fact that she wants to do something for him is very nice! She asked me if she could use my copics and so I sat with her and told her what colors to put where in order to get the depth and shadow into her coloring.

This is the card she came up with. Now I have to say that she has colored this all on her own with a bit of direction from me and I have to say that she has done a Fabulous job! Considering this is only the 2nd time I have let her use my copics, I can be a tad protective of them!

We may have another Copic lover in the family!

Chapter 40: Hooka Are You?

"Who are YOU?" said the Caterpillar.
This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, "I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then."
~Alice's Adventures in Wonderland,Chapter 5

Welcome to the mad world of Wonderland! Once again we are here to inspire you to create great things! The Caterpillar (Absalom) was the wisest creature in Wonderland. At least he thought so, and so did most of the others.
He is a fascinating character because of his wisdom, and his lack of understanding metamorphosis. Kind of a weird oxymoron, don't you think? Our challenge this week is to use either a caterpillar or a butterfly in your project. If you'd like to go one step farther, use a definition or dictionary paper in your design (any subject is fine).

If you are fortunate, you may find yourself wisely winning your choice of three 4x6 reprints from our sponsor, Maigan Lynn Beaudoin Shaw. Make sure to pop past the Oh Alice Blog to see what the Dt have done with one of Maigan's images, just Gorgeous!

I have had this stamp for a little while now and have been waiting for someone to have a baby so that I could ink it up, well my neighbours have just become grandparents for the first time and I have made this card to give to them.

Remember, you have all week to play this challenge! Link your project to the Oh Alice! Challenge blog by midnight, Friday, November 26th to be entered in the drawing. Happy creating!!

Raising Awareness of Premature Births!

Yesterday my family and I all went to the Life's Little Treasures Foundation - Walk For Prems. Which was a fun run/walk to raise money and awareness for Premature Births. My hubby did the 10km run with the girls in the Pram. Here is a Picture of them just as the run was about to start and the bottom picture is of them once they had finished.

I am so Proud of him for running with the girls. There is no way that I could even run 1km, so I just wanted to say a Great Big CONGRATULATIONS to my amazing Hubby and Girls for a job well done, or should I say well run...hehe! Love you!
Life's Little Treasures is a charity that I volunteer with and they are a fantastic support group for Families who have had a Premature baby, which is something that is very close to our hearts!

I also want to give a big Congratulations to all the Life's Little Treasures Girls and Guys who put together a fantastic event yesterday! Well Done!

Chapter 39: Nothin' but Tea and Time...

"Alice felt dreadfully puzzled. The Hatter's remark seemed to have no sort of meaning in it, and yet it was certainly English. `I don't quite understand you,' she said, as politely as she could.

`The Dormouse is asleep again,' said the Hatter, and he poured a little hot tea upon its nose.

The Dormouse shook its head impatiently, and said, without opening its eyes, `Of course, of course; just what I was going to remark myself.'

`Have you guessed the riddle yet?' the Hatter said, turning to Alice again.

`No, I give it up,' Alice replied: `what's the answer?'

`I haven't the slightest idea,' said the Hatter.

`Nor I,' said the March Hare.

Alice sighed wearily. `I think you might do something better with the time,' she said, `than waste it in asking riddles that have no answers.'

`If you knew Time as well as I do,' said the Hatter, `you wouldn't talk about wasting IT. It's HIM.'

`I don't know what you mean,' said Alice.

`Of course you don't!' the Hatter said, tossing his head contemptuously. `I dare say you never even spoke to Time!'"

Greetings friends in Wonderland!

Today we have a fun challenge for you based on a lovely inspiration piece that the Mad Hatter herself just might "need" one of these days!

But first, a BIG warm WONDERLAND welcome to Tracy Evans, our November/December Guest! Tracy has wow'd us with her projects for a while and we are thrilled to have her here at our Twisted Table.

This week, we have an inspiration piece, again from one of Jess's favorite designers,Tarina Tarantino (Shown above).

It LOOKS like a watch, but in this case, the face of "Father Time" is the Mad Hatter himself. We can just see him, shouting out from this beautiful piece and startling it's owner "YOU HAVEN'T EVEN MET TIME!". Boy, it sure feels like that some days..time simply moves TOO QUICKLY to catch!

Make sure you pop past the Oh Alice Blog to see what the rest of the DT have created!

I even managed to get her beanie like Miss Lily's...hehe!
