Now onto my card, I am happy to say that I have had my air brush out again and I have airbrushed the background. I am having so much fun with my airbrush! I think you are definitely going to get sick of me using it....hehe! I have used the Saturday Sketch from Club Anya and Friends and I am pretty happy with how this turned out, half way through I wasn't too sure, but the final result was one I am happy with.

AnyaInk - Black, White and 1 color of your choice!

So our next challenge over at AnyaInk is to use black, white and 1 other color of your choice! So of course there really wasn't a choice for me.....it had to be pink...hehe! I have been wanting to have a go at coloring in using the copic greys, so this was the perfect challenge to do this. Colors are listed below! I really enjoyed this and plan on doing some more coloring in greys!

AnyaInk - Christmas in July

AnyaInk - Create a Scene

This weeks AnyaInk Challenge is to Create a Scene. I have used Princess Anya and a castle from My Cute Stamps to create my little Fairytale Scene. Although I am very disappointed that I dropped my Ink pad onto my Princess and as you can see it has left a mark. I am planning on fixing this buy recoloring another Princess Anya's crown and hair and sticking it over the messed up bits, but I haven't had time yet! I also tried to create some clouds in my background, but it hasn't shown up quite so well in the photo, but believe me they are there...hehe!

Happy Birthday to my little Man & My First AnyaInk DT Card

Well today is my little Oscar's 1st birthday. I can't believe how quickly it all goes! It only seems like yesterday that I had him and now he is walking and starting to talk! So below is my very first AnyaInk DT Card, which is Oscar's Birthday Card. If you pop over to the blog you will see the rest of the amazing DT's gorgeous Easel Cards. So here is my Easel Card. My little Super Oscar has Red hair just like my Oscar....hehe! I have used the TGF Amzing Duo set and the Monster is from one of my new sets from My Cute Stamps.

We have had a really nice day for Oscar's Birthday. We went and had Pizza in the park for lunch and we have just done his birthday cake. I can honestly say that his favourite part of the cake was the icing! It was everywhere...hehe!

My Very Exciting News!

Ok, I know I said come back later today and I will have some news to share, well I got a little side tracked, as you do with 5 kids, but I am back to share my news............. I have been asked by the amazing Debra to be a part of the new AnyaInk DT. And of course I said YES! OMG I was so excited when she asked me at the Melbourne Copic Certification to be on the DT. I just love all things Anya and The Greeting Farm and I have been bursting to tell everyone....So there you go! Time for my Exciting News!!!

I got an email the other day from the amazing Kristy from AnyaInk asking if I wanted to be this weeks Guest DT for AnyaInk. Well there was no need to think about it...I sent an email straight back saying YES!! And the best part was that this fortnight's challenge at AnyInk is Pink and Sparkly, it couldn't get any better, bling and my favourite color in the whole wide world, Pink of course! I also used Kindy Glitz on Amelia's earings, boots and necklace. I also used Glimmer Mist Dazzling Diamonds across the picture, which gives it a gorgeous glimmer up close and personal, but is hard to see in the photo, so you will just have to take my word for it that it is super shimmery!

AnyaInk and Anyone for Anya

A friend of mine asked me to make her a card for her sisters wedding at the end of April and I thought what will I do, then I remembered that I had the TGF Cake Topper stamp which I had yet to ink up, so this was the perfect opportunity to get it wet...haha! I just love this stamp it is so adorable. My friend told me that her sisters dress was red, as this is her favourite color. So I decided to keep with that color when I made the card. This photo doesn't really show the sparkle on the flower at the top and on the bow of the dress, but believe me it sure does sparkle! I am now going to go on the hunt for a box tutorial to fit the card into. Anyway I hope my friend and her sister like the card!

Now I am sorry, but I colored this picture in a couple of weeks ago and have only just put the card together and I didn't write down my copic list. Sorry Guys!!

I hope everyone had a Great Easter however you spent it and the Easter Bunny didn't bring you too much chocolate...cause I know he brought way too much to my house.

AnyaInk

The challenge this week at AnyaInk, was to use this sketch to create your card with. As you can see I have flipped the sketch on it's side. My son has a birthday party tomorrow and I have so many girls cards, but no boy cards! For some reason when I make a card I tend to do a girls card, must have something to do with all the pretty flowers and ribbons and other girly stuff that I have tons of!

Just a quick post as I have got to go and ice my lemon cake which is cooling as I type. I have been wanting to bake all week, but it has been too hot, so today being a bit cooler was the perfect day. Just need to go and make my lemon cream cheese icing and it's all finished. Am so looking forward to a peice with a nice cup of coffee.

AnyaInk, Anyone for Anya and Club Anya Monday Mania

Well we are finally back from all our holidays. We spent 8 nights at Bright and came home for 2 and then another 4 nights camping in the bush at Ecucha. I need to be rolled around at the moment as I have drank and ate so much over these last few weeks LOL! But it has been fun! Oh and not to mention the nearly 70+ mozzie bites I got from camping in the bush, bloody mozzies, I hate them!!!

After so long away I have been itching to get back into some crafting. So I have managed to combine 3 challenges into this card. AnyaInk's challenge this week was to do a one layer card and I can tell you that I struggled at first with this one, but once I thought it out it came together quite quickly. I think because I usually work as I go and add things here or there, where as working on one layer meant I had to figure out my card fully before I started, but I am really happy with how it came out. Anyone for Anya's challenge this week was to have a charm on your card, so I have a little key charm in the corner with the flower. And last of all Club Anya had a bit of a tricky challenge this week which was to mask in order to get Anya and Ian closer together on the card. I have to say this proved to be a bit harder than I thought. It took me 3 goes to get it right.

Anyway back to my the details of my card:

I have to add that I have been toilet traning my twin girls over the last 2 months. One of my girls started about 2 months ago and the other one decided that she wanted to start yesterday, so I feel like I have spent most of my day in the toilet today. Ahh the joys of toilet training twins!!!!

AnyaInk Challenge - Black, White and One Other Color

I am so sorry this card is late in getting up. I did schedule it to post today, but I have come home from holidays to find it not posted, very frustrating. Anyway we had a great holiday, which I will fill you in about later. Although I have to say that my 10yr old son's favourite part of his holiday was meeting Bomber Footy player Matthew Loyd, who just happened to walk past our camp site! It was very Exciting! Anyway on to my AnyaInk Card.

I am so excited by this card as it marks my very first time doing a Guest DT Spot. I had so much fun putting this card together. You know how some cards just come together so quickly, this was one of those cards. I usually spend days just doing one, but this card was different. Gotta love the ones that just seem to work! The challenge this week at AnyaInk was to use black and white and one other color of your choice. So there was really only one other color I could use, PINK! Some Very Exciting News!!

I am so excited to announce that I have been asked to be a Guest DT member for AnyaInk for the first week back in January. I have never been on a DT before so I am super, super, super excited!!! I told my 10 year old son when we were walking home from school and he was just as excited for me. He always wants to know when I have put a card in for a challenge and wants to know if I have won! I think he may be just a little bit proud of his mum!

AnyaInk - Acetate Challenge

The last AnyaInk Challenge for the year is to use acetate. I have seen some fantastic things done with acetate and had actually bought some only a few weeks ago, so this was the perfect opportunity to have a go. I think that this turned out pretty good, although it was hard to take a picture of. I have included two pictures as I think the first one is better, but you get the flash on the acetate. So I added another one, you can never have enough photos of your cards!! Anyway I white embossed the greeting on the inside of the card so that you could see it through the acetate window.

Well it sure is a hot one down in Melbourne today. I have let my older two stay home today because it is so hot, but I have threatened a few times to drop them off at school because they keep fighting! Is 1pm to early for a glass of wine!! Lucky for me Hubby came home early and I nicked out to the shops for some sanity relief. I ended up down at Chemist Warehouse smelling perfumes. I need a new one and I was after something different. I smelt so many perfumes, but as soon as I smelt Vera Wang Princess I knew that I had found my new perfume, not to mention it comes in the most gorgeous bottle, it is a heart shaped pink bottle with a little tiara on the lid, so cute! So Santa will be bringing me a nice new perfume! I can't wait.

First Post!!

I thought it was about time I started my own blog. So here it is and here is my first card to share with you. It is card for the Anyaink challenge. You had to create an odd shaped card. So I made an ornament card. I have used Fairy Chloe and this is the first time I have colored her up. I have used my Touch and Copic markers, which I know Santa is going to bringing me some more colors to add to my collection!
