Some Odd GIrl No lines!

This card was my entry into the round 3 of Odd Idol! I have to say I have had a lot of fun with this stamp, she is so much fun to color, especially in the No lines technique!

My twins Birthdays were last week and one of my girls loves blue and red so thats why I went with this color scheme, it looks very Patriotic, but it really is just about a litle girl who loves Blue and Red...haha! 

So I am happy to say that this card got me thoruogh to the 4th round of Odd Idol, so I will come back later to show you my card which I did for that!

Not much else to report here at the moment, bubs is growing nicely, as am I...haha! I am so going to need to start exercising as soon as this baby arrives or else it is not going to be a pretty look leading into summer lol! But otherwsie the pregancy is going well and we are now into the home quarter, with 3/4 down already, it sure has gone fast! Before we know it it will be the start of October and Bubs will be here, hope we have decided on names before then lol! Not having much luck at the moment!

Odd Idol Round 2

Sorry I have been a bit MIA, being Pregnant and on limited duties due to complications means i havent been doing too much! PLus I have been a bit sucked back into Crocheting! I have made a few scarfs and am now onto a ripple Weave Blanket. I just love how this looks!

Obviously I still have a long way to go before it is nice and long...haha! Hopefully I will be finished before Winter is over lol!

 But I have managed to do a little crafting and have entered into the Some Odd Girl Idol contest and I am very happy to report that I have made it to the Final round...Yay!

This card is one I made for round 2. I was desperate to try Kristy's cloud tutorial and I  have to say that I do love the look, very cool! And I have definitely used it a couple of times now!

I do have a list of the copic colors I used, but for the life of me I can't find what I have done with it...haha! Anyway I do have a few more cards to show you from the next couple of Odd Idol Rounds, but I will save them for another day!

Finally a new creation and some very EXCITING news!

Hi there, well hopefully there are still people reading this as I have been just a tad bit neglectful of my poor blog lately, but I promise you it is all for a Fantastic reason! It seems that I am going to need to change my blog name from Crafty Mummy 2 five, to Crafty Mummy 2 six! Yep thats right......

WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!!!!!

After quite a while trying I am soooo excited to announce that baby #6 is on its way! So therefore I have been suffering with pretty bad morning sickness and haven't been doing very much of anything, especially crafting, but I am slowly feeling better and have even completed a few projects lol! Speaking of which.........

Over in the Odd Girl Ning group they are having an ODD IDOL competition and I have made a card to enter, there is an Amazing Prize for the overall winner, which will run over a series of rounds, so fingers crossed...haha!

Make a Wish!

This is one of the first no lines coloring I did! I thought that I had already showed her on my blog, but it turns out I haven't! My girls think I should make her blonde and that way she would be a perfect tinker bell! I might have to do that with the next one I do, especially when one of my girls is mad about Tinkerbell!

I am entering this card into the Some Odd Girl Sketch Challenge. I have actually flipped the sketch but I am pretty happy with myself for sticking to a sketch...hha! Usually I can't help myself and have to keep adding to the card! Probably helped that it was a card for my husband, couldn't keep adding flowers or bling...haha!

He loves Me!

Over in the Odd Girl Ning group they are having a hoarders challenge! The challenge is to use 2 things you have been hoarding as well as a new item. So my big hoard is of course paper, have way too much of the stuff...haha! One of my all time favourite paper pads is Graphic 45's Once upon a springtime! I have used 3/4's of my pad, but every time I go to use it I say to myself that the project I'm making isn't good enough to use THAT paper, don't want to waste it lol! So this challenge I decided to use it, so all my paper on my card is from my Graphic 45 paper pad! My other thing I tend to hoard are my Tim Hotlz tickets, well not today! And of course my new item is my newest Odd Girl Stamp, She loves me not Mae, she is just so adorable!

This is just my absolutely favourite Mad For Markers Digi and not just because I named her...haha! The very talented Sammi drew her and I just love her!

Now I have printed this image to just under an A4 size, so she is pretty big, I am still thinking about what I might do with her, maybe I will frame her and put her somewhere, not sure yet!

I have again done the no lines technique with this picture, not sure if I will ever color using black stamped images again...haha! All I know is I was a little uninspired lately and all of a sudden I am coloring up a storm and loving it, so why not go with it!

My first shadow box!

Well I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a nice break if you managed to go away! We managed to get away for a couple of weeks camping.

I made this shadow box a couple of months ago for my hubby for our wedding anniversary, I have never made one before but it was actually a lot of fun doing something different and he really loved it.

Shocking as it is to say this, there are NO copics in this creation...haha! Sometimes it is nice to have a break from coloring and do something different!

Well I had lost a bit of my crafty mojo this last couple of months, but it seems I have found it again and have started coloring again, so I should have some more to show very soon!

He is even starting to do the whole grunting thing, so we don't actually get much out of him but a couple of mumbles and grunts...haha! Going to be a fun few years! I have another Saturated Canary Card to show you today! I just love this girl, she is just so adorable! Now she is currently out of stock in the M4M store, but I have it on good authority that more are on their way as I type, lol!

I have to say that I have kind of copied these colors from a card I saw Claudia Rose do, I can't seem to find it on her blog, so maybe it was on facebook that I saw it, but she did hers using distress inks and I just loved the vinatge look to it so I tried to replicate it with my copics! I am really happy with how it turned out and in the end it got me using some copics that I dont tend to use, which are the E80's, but I will definitely be using them again!

This card is for my good friends birthday next week, but she doesn't look at my blog so I know I am safe to put it up here!

Last week was my 12th wedding Anniversary, time sure flies when your having fun! We had a really nice evening, we went out for dinner, which was a lovely meal at a new Chinese Restaurant near us and then we came home for some desert that I mad made during the day, a lovely Choc Mouse tart with Orange caramel! Yummo!

Beautiful Baby Girl!

A friend of mine had a Beautiful baby girl in August and this is the card I made for her! I just LOVE this Saturated Canary stamp, she is just so beautiful! I was really happy with how this card came out! For some reason I thought I had already shown this card, but it seems I didn't, so anyway here it is!

We have had a couple of very exciting days at my house! I FINALLY managed to get Pink Tickets on Wednesday after trying to get them in 2 Pre-Sales, as well as on the day they were released, all I can say is thank goodness that they kept releasing new shows over the course of the day as I managed to get tickets at 2pm when new shows were announced. Can't wait to go, but it suxs that I have to wait until August! Also on the same day we found out that my Oldest Son had been accepted into the SELP Program at his school for next year. SELP is a Select Entry Learning Program for Kids who are quite bright! He had to sit an exam for it and we are soooo proud of him for working so hard!

A Very Special Birthday!

How cute is this BIG Miss Anya! She was one of the 3 Birthday Celebrations that "The Greeting Farm' just recently released! All three BIG Anyas are available in the Mad For Marker Store!

I like how she is a bit older than some of the other Anyas, just a little bit more grown up...haha!

Anyway this card I made for my Beautiful Friend Sam, who just happens to be the BIG Boss lady over at Mad For Markers! It was her birthday in early September and I had just gotten my new Anya stamp and couldn't wait to stamp it off. Now I know that she has it because I saw her post it on her blog along with others that she got for her birthday and I saw it stuck up on her pinboard when I was at her house a couple of weeks ago...haha! I went up to Sydney for the M4M Copic Conference a couple of weeks ago and had such a great time, did HEAPS of coloring, which I can't normally do at home as there is always something else to be done first...haha! But I had a fantastic weekend with my beautiful friend Sam and I met so many Lovely ladies at the conference, it really was an Awesome day and weekend!

My Twins turned 6 last month and it feels like just yesterday that they were my baby girls! Now they are big school girls who are very indepent and apparently don't need their Mummy for everything...haha!

Dream Big!

Last Friday my Daughter competed in the Karate National Championships and this is the card I made to give her as she was leaving, to wish her luck! I told her that it didn't matter to us where she came as long as she gave it her all then we were proud of her! She works so hard at her Karate, plus I think it helps that she just LOVES it!

I have to say it was one of the most nerve wracking experiences of my life. I felt physically ill as I was sooo nervous for her, so I can only image how she felt! When she started her first fight I swear I thought I was going to be sick...haha! But she did FANTASTIC, she had four fights and only lost one, which meant she missed out on the final, but she fought off for a Bronze medal and I am so proud to say she won! So my daughter is now the 3rd best in Australia...it's so exciting to write that...haha!

I colored this image a little while ago thankfully, cause at the moment I seem to have lost my coloring mojo! I am hoping to find it in the next week or so as I really want to color, but when I sit down to do it I just seem to just sit there and not do anything lol! I am going shopping for a new desk this afternoon as it is my birthday on Sunday and I really want a new desk with just a little more room. Although I don't have a very big space though so it is trying to find one that will fit, anyway fingers crossed and who knows hopefully if I find one it will bring my mojo back!

Koala Marci!

This is my very first LaLa Land Stamp! When I was at the class in Sydney with Irina I saw this stamp and fell in love with it straight away, I mean isn't she just sooo adorable, I love her! So anyway had to buy her and make a card with her! On the colored in packaging of Koala Marci, Irina has colored her hat in using these dots and I thought that it looked pretty cool so I have copied the look, thanks for the idea Irina!

I have a very special friend who just LOVES Purple! You know who you are...hehe! Anyway it was her birthday on Saturday and this is the card I made for her!
